SPIROVENT DIRT®

Air and dirt free system water through a single unit

The life and the efficiency of a heating or cooling system is greatly dependent on the quality of the system water. Air and dirt problems cause frequent breakdowns and increased customer complaints. Corrosion, cavitation and wear among others are consequences of air satured and dirty system water.

Recurring problems and increased maintenance results in unnecessarily high costs and dissatisfied owners.

There is a solution!
A system without air and dirt is possible.

The name:        SPIROVENT DIRT
The principal difference

The unique construction of this combined unit allows it not just to remove entrained air but also dirt particles. The special design of the Spirotube® is the heart of the unique combined action of the Spirovent. Dirt particles of all sizes sink to the bottom of the unit and collect in the dirt chamber, while the air bubbles rise and collect in the air chamber. The dirt can be flushed out while the system is in full operation through the drain valve. Tha air is released via an integral automatic valve. The large collector ensures that flushing is required infrequently.

Lifting eyes make
installation easyl

The air chamber has been
specially designed so that dirt
cannot reach the valve

The large wall thickness
guarantees a long life

The unique Spirotube® is the heart of the Spirovent. Designed to trap the smallest microbubble and microscopic dirt particle, yet it offers little resistance to flow

Drain valve for
flushing out the dirt

The automatic air vent is guaranteed not to leak and can only be closed by the installer for a pressure test. Threaded connection is available for that purpose or remote venting

Valve for releasing large amounts of air during filling and for skimming off floating dirt

Threaded and flanged connections
Threaded 2" to 4"
Flanged 2" and up

Large capacity collection chamber
reduces the need for frequent draining
Advantages for the specifier, installer and owner
  • Maximum protectin of the installation by conditioning the system water
  • Increased system efficiency
  • Reduced risk of breakdown
  • Greatly reduced start-up time
  • Optimum heat transfer
  • Increased component life
  • Reduced oxygen based corrosion and pump cavitation
  • Quiet operation
  • No by-pass, isolating valves or replacement filters
  • Minimum pressure drop;always constant; can be flushed while fully operational
